How do I remove trojan horse generic9.aavj from my computer?

I have AVG free and every time I log on to the internet I get this pop-up saying ''Threat detected''. I've ran Rogue Remover free edition. I've also ran spybot as well.

How do I remove trojan horse generic9.aavj from my computer?virus protection software

Run an anti-virus scan using avg to detect and delete all viruses.

I would also suggest you download firefox from http://tools.google.com/firefox/toolbar/...

This is because ie does stuff up your computer and it is easily corrupted and gained access to. Firefox is much more secure and if a page needs ie download an extension for ff called ie tab.

Good luck.

Contact AVG technical support at grisoft dot com. You will probably find this is an error in detection ( a false positive ). Make sure you have the latest updates, that may solve your problem as well. No antivirus program is immune to mistakes, as they are created by human beings.
Run GarbageClean from http://www.SecureMyWindows.com to remove it.
